Tomato Tasting and Sizzlin’ Summer Salsa Contest
at the Fullerton Arboretum, 1900 Associated Road, Fullerton.
The contest runs between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and is open to the public at no charge.

Cactus and Succulent Sale
The Fullerton Arboretum is pleased to announce the addition of a second Cactus and Succulent Sale in the summer. It is scheduled for July 25, 26 & 27 and admission is free. Lake of the Sky Garden Club's Lake Tahoe North Shore Garden Tour
from Carnelian Bay to Tahoe City, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 
View ten private gardens, including five lake-fronts, featuring native and perennial beds, water gardens, and beautiful lawns. Local artists will be on site creating original artwork.  Complimentary refreshments will be served. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased by mailing a check or money order to Lake of the Sky Garden Club, P.O. Box 1827, Tahoe City, CA 96145-1827, or call Anne Chartier at 530-546-4902.

Garden-Style Propagation Workshop with Dr. Don Mahoney

Take this opportunity to learn from San Francisco Botanical Garden’s Curator Dr. Don Mahoney’s years of experience growing choice subtropical specimens from Mexico, South America, and South Africa. Don will emphasize propagation methods that bring success for the amateur gardener, and advise students during hands-on practice of taking cuttings and sowing seed.
