California Garden Clubs, Inc.

501(c)3 Group Exemption Clubs

CGCI has registered with the Internal Revenue Service, and has been approved by the IRS, to provide 501(c)(3), non-profit, group exemption status to the member clubs that fulfill all the legal requirements.

The following clubs have complied with all IRS requirements and have been approved by the CGCI Board of Directors to be included in the 501(c)(3) Group Exemption of California Garden Clubs, Inc. for 2006 and 2007. The list will be updated with 2008 members by April 1, 2008.

Donors may deduct donations to these clubs as charitable contributions on federal
income tax returns.

The CGCI Group Exemption number is 5358.

NOTE: Approved clubs are recorded annually with the IRS. The IRS will accept the CGCI Group exemption number of 5358 for each of the following clubs. Please also note that several of CGCI member clubs/districts are not part of CGCI's group exemption program because they have their own, individual 501(c)(3) filing with the IRS. Contact the individual club/district for more information.
